Welcome to the homepage of the BioForce Group
In our group we research physics at the interface to biology and medicine. For this purpose, we
- measure mechanical and electrical parameters of nanosystems
- develop novel instruments for high resolution microscopy and medical diagnosis
- visualizing morphological and mechanical properties of living cells and tissues
- differentiating cancerous tissue using water flow elastography
- illuminating transport processes in artificial and natural membranes
- exposing biomaterials on the molecular scale
